Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Division Administrator, performs the following functions:   Prepares and monitors division financial matters as part of the Foundation's corporate plan.  Performs liaison functions based between the respective Departments and Division of Finance Corporate on all related matters.   Establishes and implements financial systems and procedures. Prepares and analyzes consolidated financial plans in an autonomous division(s).   Serves as the Division's financial resource/consultant on all financial related activities.   Coordinates, conducts and documents special/unique financial analysis projects.   Assists management as financial liaison to Administrative Support Divisions.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics reflecting an in-depth knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and cost accounting techniques. 
  • Familiarity with personal computers and general software applications. 
  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills, analytical and interpretative skills.
  • Exceptional knowledge and experience with the following applications and processes: Lawson, Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, Macro's, FTP's, Uploads, Downloads. 
  • Knowledge of Transition Systems preferred.

 

Required Length and Type of Experience

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare or Industry with exposure to accounting systems and procedures, budgeting, forecasting techniques, financial analysis of institutional profitability and FASB standards and requirements.

  • None Required

 

Required Physical and Environmental Demand

  • Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds
