Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Financial Accounting, the incumbent will be accountable for directing the General Ledger and all related processing, the Corporate Accounting Financial Systems Support, and the support of the Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) process within the Division of Finance. Responsible for the long-term management and vision of the Corporate Accounting Financial Systems group. Directs and coordinates all required project tasks and staff resources in conjunction with Cleveland Clinic goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of financial system analysis as well as a strong understanding of accrual accounting and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Strong management and leadership skills.

Strong personal computer skills with spreadsheet and presentation software experience.

Ability to analyze, coordinate and manage multiple projects/tasks and concepts.

Excellent skills in human relations, interpersonal relationships, and verbal/written communications. Demonstrated skills in analytical problem solving, project planning and project management.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

Comprehensive understanding of health care organizations and integrated financial systems.

M.B.A or C.P.A preferred
