Job Summary:

The Analyst, Market Intelligence (MI) will collect and manage all market information related to Emerging Businesses (EB) for the Clinic.  Responsibilities will include conducting self-directed searches/analyses across a wide range of healthcare business related topics from a variety of secondary data sources, then summarizing results for Emerging Businesses teams.  With demonstrated expertise in this area, the Analyst will be encouraged to expand his/her responsibilities to include broader market intelligence duties including primary research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and building additional MI capabilities for the organization.  This individual will support the EB-Business Development team and report to the Director of Market Intelligence, EB.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing/business or sciences.  At least 3-5 years experience in information/market analysis or equivalent.  Masters in Library Information Science or similar is highly desired and an MBA is a definite plus.  The applicant should have a passion for understanding complex business issues and a strong curiosity about how healthcare systems work. Demonstrated market/information researching skills with proven results. Possess in-depth knowledge of health care and business information sources to conduct comprehensive research and analysis. Excellent communications skills with solid business instincts. Proven thinking skills and the ability to take ownership for results. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary professional and technical staff and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines. Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC. May include some domestic travel (up to 10% as responsibilities increase).
