Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work with all departments in preparing quotes.
Prepare a cost sheet status update and open sample report as required.
Handle all calls for new potential customers and follow up with a status report as required.
Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Develops and maintains product implementation into the manufacturing costing system (BPCS).
Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Operate computer system for cost estimating functions.
Maintains and updates customer information using ACT software. Responsible for implementation and training of this program.
