CNC Operator
The H.C. Starck Fabricated Products business is a highly technical global manufacturing company making various parts for the Medical, Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, Energy, Semiconductor, and Electrical Power Markets as well as a variety of other applications. The materials used are Tungsten, Molybdenum, Tantalum, Niobium, and other exotic metals.
The CNC Operator position will be based in Euclid, Ohio to set up and operate numerically controlled equipment in order to perform various machine functions, such as cutting, turning, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic work pieces.
Requirements:
· Requires a High School diploma, or equivalent
· This machinist will have previous CNC machining experience; specifically milling
· Advanced math skills are required to perform necessary job functions
· The ability to read and interpret complex blue prints and layouts
· Understand general tolerances
· Utilize measuring equipment (optical comparator, micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators and any necessary inspection equipment)
· Experience with computer software programs. CAD / CAM software training/experience preferred.
· Display competence in operating and maintaining all machines in defined department.
