Welcome to Parkwood
Parkwood Corporation is a dynamic and fast-growing private financial services company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Parkwood Trust Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary based in Wilmington, Delaware. Together, these entities employ more than 40 experienced professionals offering investment advisory services, multi-generational tax and estate planning, and other professional services.
The Parkwood Difference
At Parkwood, people come first. It is not by coincidence that the first word in our company’s Philosophy statement is People, followed by our bedrock principle: “It’s All About Who.” At Parkwood, you will have the opportunity to work with peers who are among the best in their chosen professions, some of the brightest minds in the fields of investments, tax, accounting, and law. Our outside advisors are equally astute, featuring the nation’s top asset managers, investment advisors, accounting and law firms.
An important part of our people-centric culture is a “Family First” environment. Parkwood understands that in addition to professional commitments, a well-balanced person has commitments to family and the greater community. Our corporate culture and company policies encourage a full well-balanced life.
Of course, Parkwood offers very competitive compensation and benefit plans. More importantly, it offers a stable, professional work environment, where excellence is the goal of every activity. And our close relationship with the Mandel Foundation means that your professional efforts will not only benefit our clients, they will also make a difference in the world at large.
History of Parkwood Corporation
Parkwood was incorporated in the 1970s to oversee the investments of three successful Cleveland-based business partners. Leadership for the investment process came from the partners themselves and several key advisors. Over the years, Parkwood has developed a professional, closely-directed and effective means of selecting, qualifying, and working with experienced investment managers in a variety of investment fields. The results of this investment process have continuously exceeded relevant benchmarks and peer groups.
Today, the array of services offered by the professionals at Parkwood goes beyond investment advice, to include multi-generational tax and estate planning, as well as other professional services. Parkwood’s clients include a mix of partnerships, trusts, charitable organizations, and individuals. This complex client base requires a diversified and sophisticated set of services, well beyond the level of work typically seen at most trust companies. Our clients expect and receive world-class excellence from the professionals at Parkwood.
